Subject area: Meteorology
The Department of Meteorology at Stockholm University is a part of the Bert Bolin Centre for Climate Research www.bbcc.su.se. We seek a post-doctoral scientist to perform research on the properties, structure and evolution of Arctic summertime clouds. The research will involve development and application of a three-dimensional cloud-resolving model and interpretation of the model results using observational data from different sources. The work will have strong connections to other past and present projects within the Bolin Centre focusing on Arctic clouds and climate (e.g. the ASCOS expedition: www.ascos.se).
Eligibility
The applicant should have a PhD in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences, or similar qualifications.
